Unique Car sound & Security was originally formed by Mike and Tim Godwin around 1996. In that time they built the business up to a well respected supplier and installation company specialising in Audio, Navigation, Phone, security and many other related products. Having undertaken varied projects from simple hands free phone kits to full custom car show winning audio upgrades, the company soon became known in many circles for the excellence of its work.

In June 2011 Mike decided it was time to retire and sold the business to Mark and Richard of Comand (Europe) Ltd. www.comand.co.uk. Being one of the leading companies for Mercedes retrofits, buying into Unique was a great fit for them. It allowed them to retain existing technical staff and broaden their offerings to all of Unique's existing customer base. Gaining some of the most technically minded and skilled staff in the business, Unique are well placed to offer almost any form of car enhancement from Tracking devices, phone kits, audio upgrades, ipod integration, Alarms and immobilers to pretty much any make of vehicle including cars, motorcycles, horse boxes, plant and caravans.
