Porsche PCM3.1 / PCM3 / PCM4 Cayenne Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
We have a lovely upgrade for the Porsche PCM (PCM3.1, PCM4.0, PCM3.0, CDR3.1) (Cayenne, Boxster, 911, Macan) which gives you touchscreen wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto fully controlled from your existing head-unit.
We can show you this in a demo PCM3.1 vehicle in our Lightwater (M3 junction 3) facility.
We use a UK supported Apple CarPlay & Android Auto system (rather than an unsupported Chinese CarPlay system) designed in UK or USA (vehicle dependant), with an extra board installed into the PCM to provide this facility, which means the touchscreen is fully integrated. The whole system is very responsive and feels like it has always been part of the car, and of course brings the vehicle very much up to date. It uses the car’s existing microphone (so no extra visible microphone needed) for seamless integration.
We also have PCM3.0, PCM4.0 and CDR3.1 systems available for earlier and later vehicles.
PCM3.0 is in Porsche 911 (2009-2012) + Boxster (2009-2012) + Cayman (2009-2012) + Cayenne (2009-2012)
PCM3.1 and CDR3.1 is in Porsche 911 (2012-2017) + Boxster (2013-2017) + Cayman (2013-2017) + Cayenne (2011-2016) + Macan (2014-2017) + Panamera (2010-2016)
PCM4.0 is in Porsche Porsche 911 (2017-2018), Macan (2017-2018) + Cayenne (2017) + Cayman, Boxster (2017-2021)
The fully installed cost is £849 and we give a 3 year warranty on the module.
