The Mercedes Digital Cockpit option consist of a full LCD instrument cluster and a large Navigation Display.
We were one of the first to retrofit the Digital Cockpit to the Mercedes E class (W213 and W238), we always fit the factory additional cooling fans and integrate the Ambient Lighting around the digital cockpit so you can then control the central lighting properly via the COMAND system. Of course we update the data record (VeDOK) at Mercedes Benz in Germany so that when the car is later serviced all continues to function as designed. When we install the Digital Cockpit, we even transfer the service history across. On the W213 and W218 this starts at £2000, but is dependent on what options you have in your vehicle as the early Audio-20 does not support the larger navigation screen and would therefore also need upgrading to COMAND – the better navigation system with CarPlay and Android Auto.
We can supply genuine brand new Digital Cockpits, or used (and refurbished) items as we have the technology to “virginise” a used instrument cluster – although with most Mercedes the earliest released items sometimes have issues that we will warn you about.
If you have a Mercedes A class, B Class, GLA or CLA with the digital LCD instrument cluster but with the smaller navigation screen, we can replace the digital cockpit with the one with the extra large display (if your vehicle has the 548 option Navigation system, which is normally the default in the UK).
